First off welcome to my blog! A little bit about myself – I am a recent college grad working a 9 to 5 office job here in Washington DC, but secretly spending all my free time day dreaming about food and the recipes that I can make with the contents of my fridge! Along with my office job, and my blog I have also started working with a start up catering company (DistrictCateringDC), doing everything from creating menus and cooking at the events to setting up financials. I love to travel and hope to travel the world some day – collecting recipes from every country and cuisine. Posted on this site are some of my own original recipes, recipes I’ve adjusted and even some recipes that are already perfect as is. I have no professional culinary background, just family kitchen training and my own curious kitchen efforts, so everything I post on here you can learn how to make too.  Feel free to send me an email or post a comment with any questions, concerns, requests. If you have a recipe you’re not sure about and would like someone else to try it first before you take it on send it over – I’m always looking for new recipes to try!
